Lisa Ricciardi
Senior Vice President, Business Development, Medco
Lisa Ricciardi is currently Senior Vice President for Business Development at Medco. Before joining Medco, she was with Essex Woodlands Health Ventures from 2007. She brings with her over 16 years of business and healthcare experience gleaned from a distinguished career with Pfizer, Inc. Ms. Ricciardi served as the Senior Vice President for Licensing and Development at Pfizer, a position to which she was promoted in 2004 after serving as Vice President for Licensing and Development for Pfizer beginning in 1998. As Senior Vice President, Ms. Ricciardi led overall licensing negotiations of complex multinational, multiyear deals with global researchbased pharmaceutical firms and was responsible for sourcing half of Pfizer’s future pipeline.
Previously, Ms. Ricciardi was a Team and Group Leader in the Global Pharmaceuticals Division (1995-1998) and as Assistant Product Manager and Product Manager in Pfizer Laboratories (1988 – 1995). Prior to Pfizer, Ms. Ricciardi worked with clients of the American Practice Management, a $100 million international management consulting firm specializing in physician and hospital management, enforcing the implementation of Diagnostic Related Groups. Ms. Ricciardi is also a director of Sepracor. She holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
